I doubt many religious people could stomach a taste of their own medicine. I've known people who got fired when it was discovered that they were an atheist. Atheists are one of the last groups that it is still okay to discriminate against (not only okay, but encouraged). A major reason for this is because religion cannot hold up to our criticisms; therefore, censoring us becomes the only viable solution. The truth offends. Everyone who did audio in this animation is VERY much worth your subscription. In order of appearance: BionicDance (the teacher), KingHeathen (the door-to-door atheist), LovingDoubt (angry happy holidays customer), and ProfMTH (marriage activist).

It's strange to live in such a phoney society, where most of the people around me are pretending that they believe something that they clearly don't. Your actions show what you truly believe, and the actions of Christians show that they do not really care about what Jesus had to say.

Hi everyone. This is an idea I've had for a while, and rather than try to tackle Special Investigation Part 3 on my new Mac just yet, I thought I'd try it out with something graphically simpler. Those of you who follow me on twitter (NonStampNSC) will have heard the enormous difficulties I've been having getting my new MacBookPro to do simple things like I could do on my (now dead) WinXP machine. The troubles aren't over yet, but hopefully soon I can figure some things out and get Special Investigation 3 - "Evolution" out there at last.
Til then, let's suggest that christians just fucking get over it when we use words like fuck, shit, fucking, fucker, and all that.
Thanks very much to Askegg http://www.youtube.com/user/askegg
who's been generous with his time on Skype helping me work some Mac things out.
He's on the top of my list for my next shout-outs vid, and it's because his videos are great, not just because he's a nice guy! Go check it out for a preview.
--Though I do NOT approve of that act (or what the article says it was), I can tell you why he has not religious tolerance. Religion, (at least monotheism) has been the reason for most of the pain this world has suffered over the past 2000 years. It has caused more wars and death than any plague, and even now is taking the rights of the average citizen. Also, it is destroying the American education system.
I was blocked from commenting on this, and rating it, so I am posting my reply here, and flagging this video.
Clarifying the various Human Species
This is the 5th installment in the 'Falsifying Phylogeny' series. It seemed peripheral to me, but it deals with several questions that keep coming up, and it is a necessary prequel to the 6th and final episode of this series.
Some people asked about the tee shirt featured in this video. It was created by Q-Dragon and is available here:
BTW FYI - If you include 00:06 seconds of Glenn Beck, Fox will block your video instantly.
So I've been looking for another song like "Never Gonna Give You Up" for a long time now, and a couple weeks ago I saw the sexy saxograms prank video, end of story. I realize that Seether did a cover of this too. I'm not trying to battle with theirs, I just hear it differently. For all the comments, subs, and messages - Big ups. You're the best. The next two are both requests, one I'll keep to myself, however one of the two is MEGAMAN. Thanks so much

Creationists are trying so hard to push religion into science classrooms that they have repackaged the religious belief as "Intelligent Design." We debunk the idea that somehow Intelligent Design is a new concept, and show how creationists have simply substituted the term "Intelligent Design" for "Creationism."
We are here to call out Ben Stein and his ludicrous ideas that are the spotlight of his new movie Expelled, about Intelligent Design. Expelled is a manipulation of lies that repackages religious creationism as Intelligent Design and teaches it as science in public schools. We must stand up to keep religion out of our public schools' science education.

On this, one of the holiest days of the year for Christians, I have one thing too say...
MY PEOPLE KILLED YOUR GOD!!!
This message has been brought to you by the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, a lowly PROPHET killed by his own people for blasphemy.
I actually feel for the guy. Mother has an affair, 'father' is dumb enough to believe it's holy intervention.... No wonder he eventually starts hearing voices.... Then he goes around telling people to be nice to each other, which goes against their beliefs, so they kill him for it.... The guy, if he existed did not have it easy!

According to Christians, an all powerful, all knowing God is incapable of having the details of his resurrection recorded the same way by 4 different people. Even though he supposedly inspired every word of it.
So is every word LITERALLY true... or not?

"In a universe suddenly divested of illusions and lights, man feels an alien, a stranger. His exile is without remedy since he is deprived of the memory of a lost home or the hope of a promised land. The divorce between man and his life, the actor and his setting, is properly the feeling of absurdity."
Christopher Hitchens wields the hammer of reason on the glass house of religious dogma. One of Hitchens most basic yet devastating critiques of religion.
"...the final insult that relgion does to our system:
It appeals both to our meanness, our self-centeredness, our solipsism, and to our masochism. In other words, its sadomasochistic. Put it like this, your a clot of blood, your a piece of mud, your lucky to be alive, God fashioned you for his convenience and then your born in filth and sin. And even though every religion thats principially ever been, says we should be disgusted by our own sexuality (name me a religion that does not play on that fact). So your lucky to be here, originally sinful, covered in shame and filth as you are, your a wretched creature, BUT, take heart, the universe is designed with you in mind. And heaven has a plan for you.
Ladies and gentleman, I close by saying, I can't believe there is a thinking person here, who does not realize, that our species would begin to grow to something like its full height if it left it's childishness behind. If it emancipated itself from this sinister, childish nonsense. "
Gradually by the course of evolution, it developed into animals and plants and at last into MAN. Man, so the theologians assure us, is so splendid a Being that he may well be regarded as the culmination to which the long ages of nebula and slime were a prelude. I think the theologians must have been fortunate in their human contacts. They do not seem to me to have given due weight to Hitler or the Beast of Belsen.[iii] If Omnipotence, with all time at its disposal, thought it worth while to lead up to these men through the many millions of years of evolution, I can only say that the moral and aesthetic taste involved is peculiar. However, the theologians no doubt hope that the future course of evolution will produce more men like themselves and fewer men like Hitler. Let us hope so. But, in cherishing this hope, we are abandoning the ground of experience and taking refuge in an optimism which history so far does not support.
There are other objections to this evolutionary optimism. There is every reason to believe that life on our planet will not continue forever so that any optimism based upon the course of terrestrial history must be temporary and limited in its purview. There may, of course, be life elsewhere but, if there is, we know nothing about it and have no reason to suppose that it bears more resemblance to the virtuous theologians than to Hitler. The earth is a very tiny corner of the universe. It is a little fragment of the solar system. The solar system is a little fragment of the Milky Way. And the Milky Way is a little fragment of the many millions of galaxies revealed by modern telescopes. In this little insignificant corner of the cosmos there is a brief interlude between two long lifeless
epochs. In this brief interlude, there is a much briefer one containing man. If really man is the purpose of the universe, the preface seems a little long. One is reminded of some prosy old gentleman who tells an interminable anecdote all quite uninteresting until the rather small point in which it ends. I do not think theologians show a suitable piety in making such a comparison possible.
It has been one of the defects of theologians at all times to over-estimate the importance of our planet. No doubt this was natural enough in the days before Copernicus when it was thought that the heavens revolve about the earth. But since Copernicus and still more since the modern exploration of distant regions, this pre-occupation with the earth has become rather parochial. If the universe had a Creator, it is hardly reasonable to suppose that He was specially interested in our little corner. And, if He was not, His values must have been different from ours, since in the immense majority of regions life is impossible.

----I don't care if this offends anyone because frankly it disturbs me that it's even in question. Anyone who 'doesn't accept' evolution is either lazy or stupid. There is no middle ground here. An atheist does not accept the existence of gods. I am sure there are some, but I have never met an atheist that hasn't read the bible. Most are well versed in it. If you are so uneducated that you don't understand evolution, you should not be allowed to debate it or vote against it.
-----As flawed as that argument is, I happened to like this video. I had a couple of good laughs, lol. The fact is, the very question is a redundancy. The fact is, we don't know. It's simple, and strait forward. If someone says they know, they are lying. We also don't HAVE to know. Science does not add information to make it true. We can't just say 'god did it' and expect intelligent people to accept it. That is lazy.
The fact is, there are things science has not explained....YET. Science is a slow moving process, and there is a lot of date to sift through. One of the very reasons that some things have not been answered is Christians have stunted science since the dark ages by burning books, and doing things like burning scientists at the stake for heresy, and now, adding creationism...sorry,...'intelligent design' to the school curriculum rather than proven science.
If you asked a child what 100 + 100 is, would you settle for the "a whole lot" as an answer? Then why the hell would you accept medical science, but argue against Evolution... Without Evolution there would BE NO MEDICINE, save for 'magic' potions a water...I mean homeopathy.
Please help me zoom past 10k subs and share this with your friends. i love you in advance.
-----ok, heaven is in the clouds somewhere, yes? Do you know how fucking cold it is up there? Hell is nice and warm! The devil did very little in the bible. Yehway killed billions of people, told people to hold other people as slaves, forced people to kill their own children and unleashed plagues! Hell is full of fun, interesting people, most of which are brilliant scientists. Heaven?... priests...nuns...the KKK...skinheads...Hitler and his little friends....all the popes...um...hell please!!!!!!!

Why we Protest.
1) allowing threats of violence to induced the required behavior, especially when that behavior is the compliance with religious dogma, is an atrocious precedent to set.
2) of the limited actions available, defiant non-compliance will publicly show that threats of violence are an ineffective way of trying to threaten the west to comply with Islamic Law.

My response To TF:
Thunderfoot, this is not a good idea. Sorry. DMD was a great concept, and, though there was a result, it was immature and simply pissed people off. The pastor did the same thing. Great concept (though I'd never burn ANY book), but it was immature, and pissed people off. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. The burn a Koran on a hard drive idea WOULD be effective, but they would not care since it is the physical form of the Koran that matters to them, not a digital one.
Also, none of this makes any sense. Why are we going out of our way to piss off dangerous people? Would a kid steal his bullies toy and break it in front of him? No, he'd just get his ass kicked, and rightfully so. What must be done is just as worldwide. We must show these people what's inherently wrong with their faith, and do so en mass. Do as bananaman did with the Origin Of Life. Go digital if you want, and add a prologue to the Koran, and footnotes to every page, and send it out.
BRUSSELS - The Belgian Catholic church is facing law suits from lawyers to compensate victims of a massive child sex abuse scandals going back decades, with more than 500 cases documented by a church-backed commission last year.
The head of Belgium's Roman Catholic Church Andre-Joseph Leonard enraged gays last year when he suggested AIDS stemmed from the wrath of God, labeling the AIDS disease as "a sort of intrinsic justice."
One of those who ran up and slapped a custard pie in Leonard's face told Belgian media that "for all those homosexuals who dare not tell their parents they are gay, for all those young girls who want to have an abortion, he absolutely deserved it."
It is not the first time Archbishop Andrè-Joseph Leonard receives this treatment for his position regarding AIDS, abortion and pedofilia scandals which have rocked the belgian community.
The Cardinal has been hit in the face with custard pies in Louvain-la-Neuve upon his arrival for a debate.
The people responsible for throwing the pies in Archbishop Leonard's face (four times) are led by a renowned Belgian prankster who called out "Let's pie him! Let's pie the homophobic preditor!". They were able to pie his face 4 times after the controversies of the Cardinal's new anti-abortion stances.
---I of course would never approve of such indecent behavior......ROFL!! Go get em!!!!

A truly scary bunch of misfits. I can't get over those poor kids. Just imagine the conflicts going on in those minds! Teaching your kids to grow up a monotheist is abuse, plain and simple. And like any abuse, they will carry it on to their own kids. Adults with 'god hates fags' signs is one thing. Kids with those signs means immediate intervention. These kids should go to good, loving, and sane parents.

November 24, 2009 on CNN
Speaking to CNN on the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin's seminal work "On the Origin of Species," Dawkins said the evidence to support the theory that life on earth came about through natural selection, and not design by God, was "now massively buttressed by molecular evidence."
And referring to U.S.-based evangelist Ray Comfort, who argues that the universe and life is the result of an intelligent creator, Dawkins said: "There is no refutation of Darwinian evolution in existence. If a refutation ever were to come about, it would come from a scientist, and not an idiot.

All your favorite atheists meet God...
And they got a few bones to pick.
This just about sums it up:
"It would take a sick bastard to enjoy heaven while people are burning in hell."
If you believe in heaven and hell, do you dismiss God's tyrannical treatment of others because you "love" Him, or because you're chicken shit? It's time to grow a backbone and realize that it's just a myth.
Fun facts: it took over 200 files, 25GB of info, to create this animation. Mrs.DarkMatter plays one of the religious nuts at the beginning. The story was by DarkMatter, but everybody pitched in with some great extra lines. Oh, and Azrienoch's wee wee is probably perfectly adequate.
This was a worldwide collaboration: Texas, Maryland, Washington, Florida, Philadelphia, Canada, England, New York, and Denmark.
This is where the Agnostic bit comes about. Perhaps there is a being that holds the power of a god, and upholds many traits of them. Fine. However, if this being does not conform to the traits of a specific god, say Allah, than Allah can not be believed in. You can still believe in the being you found that does exist, but only with the traits you have proven...
Yes, I lost my place there... But I think it should be easy enough to follow, lol

I have heard many times of 'photographic evidence' of angels, elves, or ghosts. Of course, anyone who knows even a little bit about photography can debunk these myths. A camera is a very funny little gadget. It has it's little quirks, and a digital camera tends to have even more.
The pictures above are taken from a single photo shot with a digital camera. I was not trying to get these pics, it was dumb luck. The first, yellow pic, was the original. I was taking a picture of a friend and saw a bunch of glare when it came out. I ran it through Photoshop, and all I did was remove the color to get picture number 2. This looks like very realistic 'photographic evidence' of a demon with a scythe. It is very convincing.
Most people, of course would take this as proof of the supernatural. They would not bother asking what was going on during the time the picture was taken. Well, two of us were smoking, and I had a candle burning (one of the ones that takes away the scent of cigarette smoke). The smoke from these three items were captured by the camera drifting up into the air.
Camera glare is the leading 'proof' of ghosts that I have seen. There have been lots of 'angels' in the light of streetlamps just just happen to be caught by the camera lens. As cool as it tends to look, and as much as your imagination can mess with your head, this is still a matter of glare on a lens... It is fun to see though!

Links to all this weeks stories
Intro made by
small clip from the documentary zeitgeist i came across.
i did not read up much about this, but just thought it is interesting enough to put up.
for the full documentary, go here:
In his book, Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell described a corrupt government which didn't approve of its actual history, so they changed it to one which would made it easier to manipulate the populace. Religious extremists on the Texas State Board of Education now seek to do the same thing, -after having already vandalized the studies of science and health- in the name of censorship and propaganda, and in the hope that all the other states bow to the whim to Texas fundamentalists.
It's time to fix this broken system. It's time to revise the system such that uneducated and unqualified political ideologues no longer oppose all the experts in every field of study we need to teach.
Please review the Texas Freedom Network's campaign to de-politicize the classroom, to 'just educate' our students.
"Well, having just gone through the process of getting married, I thought I'd pull out an old idea that I've had for ages, and adapt it to a marriage context. People were asking me if my wedding was going to be a traditional church wedding - well, no. :)
The point of the video - the bible is as good a source of information on the topic of LOVE, as any ancient desert scribblings. Sure, taken on its own, 1 Cor 13:4-7 is very nice, but not as nice as other descriptions of love that human beings have come up with. And anyway - would you take advice about love from someone whose biography revealed them to be an appallingly UNLOVING character in the first place?
The bible demolishes itself as a useful source for anything, other than an anthropological study in the history of metaphysical wonderings, superstition, ignorance, and delusion. When you read the words on the pages of the bible, what you actually see is horror, fear, violence, anger, rage, jealousy (fuck it, I think jealousy is a pretty low emotion/characteristic), pettiness, death, fear, - the very worst of human nature.
Just because there are a couple of nice sentences scattered throughout it to doesn't make up for the bulk of it being so revolting.
It's not as if nobody has ever come up with a better description of love than St. Paul. Anyone could. Many have. Let's leave the bible in the dustbox of history.
A few weak points in this video? Yeah, probably. eg, the fine line between envy and jealousy, whether or not god condones smashing babies to pieces on rocks. They're certainly worth bringing up, and it's not as if the bible isn't already an impossibly mistranslated, confused self-contradictory document. I'm not claiming my video is infallible, just making a point. And anyway - smearing shit on people's faces? WTF? Deuteronomy 28? WWWTTTFFFFFFF???
Once again, let me assure my critics that I know christian doctrine rather well, and that I've read the counter arguments, for ex this one regarding whether or not God keeps a record of wrongs:
I know you can point to all sorts of examples of God being nice - but that's kind of the point, isn't it. There are examples of niceness, and also of the worst and most appalling cruelty. I'll happily admit the former, I have nothing to lose from it. Just please admit the latter, without making shit up out of thin air about how those traits of this god are less important. The old testament is fucking BRIMMING with them. God must have been very deliberate in seeing to it that those elements of his character were recorded and preserved in such VOLUME!
And yes, that's my clunky organ playing.
Sorry to those who very kindly and generously volunteer to translate and subtitle these into other languages - it's really not going to work with this one, I guess, given that there's text already all over the page.
There, that's your lot for now. Now leave me alone so I can go back to being busy with other things!"

"I found this really amusing at first, but then I realized that a lot of people will likely fall for it. Lots of people are taken in by the prosperity gospel bullshit that these parasites spread."
Want proof that Christianity is nothing more than a creepy cult? Look no further than the creepy ass rituals they participate in.
I know people get all pissy when you call people "retarded", but I have never had a single retarded person message me and tell me it bothers them. It's always non-retarded people that it seems to upset. Retarded people don't mind when you call non-retarded people "retarded" because It makes them seem smarter by comparison.
"Long ago I stood in the pews during a revival listening to the music when my mother whispered in my ear that if I feel anything, anything at all, walk up to the front and pray with the pastor to get saved. Only a few minutes later I began to feel this eerie sensation deep inside. I couldnt explain the feeling at all. So I let go of the pew and walked up to the pastor. I began speaking to him when the music stopped playing and everything went silent. In that moment I farted loudly. Thanks God.Lol"

"In observance of April 1st I examine a subject that I've recently given a lot of thought -- the inconsistency between what the Bible says about prayer and reality of personal miracles. For my primary example I discuss a young girl by the name Gabby. Although my introductory story about Gabby is completely fictitious, aside from the fact she is indeed an amputee, her story is no different than countless other believers of religion who have suffered senseless tragedies for which their prayers continuously go unanswered.
I do not mean to pick on Gabby, and I thought twice before using her images. However, I decided to go ahead with my depiction since she has become somewhat of a public figure -- there are several news stories posted about Gabby on youtube, in addition to her blog, "Gabby's Fund", where I found the photos used in my video. If anyone objects to my use of these images please be informed I am conducting myself under the terms of "Fair Use". Any attempt to take down this video will be adamantly challenged."
