Biblical "History"

I am currently watching the History Channel. There is a program on that "proves" bits and pieces from the bible. What a crock. This is something that real science does not do. True scientist do not try an prove things, they look for answers, which ever way they lead. It's called unbiased theory. People need to be smarter.

Gay Marriage

Apparently, discriminating against some types of people is wrong, but others, it's perfectly ok. I've heard alot of things about gay marriage from theists: It's wrong, disgusting, unholy, perverted and it hurts the sanctity of marriage... Odd, those are the EXACT same things I read in an old letter submitted to a paper about interracial marriage. Theists build walls, it's all they know, and all their good for.

Gay Adoption

I have seen quite a bit of verbal crap thrown at gays, and their wish to adopt. Most people say that gays should not adopt because a child needs a mother and a father.... sorry, most religious nutjobs say that. They say that a gay coupple will damage the child, or not really love the child.

Where do foster children come from? Well, obviously, a foster child comes from a loving, wonderful strait couple that decides to give their child to someone who can't have one.... Bullshit. Most foster children are born from neglectful, careless, and sometimes drug addicted, and abusive degenerates. Not all of them, mind you, some come from rape victims who have been forced to give birth by uncaring family. Needless to say, most of the children in foster care have no biological parents worth their own lives, no less the lives of the children.

Alot of foster kids are the result of strait women who have a night of fun without protection. These people, like the rape victims, are told that they cannot abort the pregnancy because of some assholic belief that the growth inside them is a person. It's not. When it breaths fresh air, it's a person. When it needs to be hooked up to human, or a machine to survive, it's a parasite. A vegitable, replacing life extending machines with a human. So, it gets born into a family that does not want it, and in many cases, abused and neglected by someone who has no right to bear a child, or too young to do so.

Now this child is in foster care, or some other care facility hoping to get adopted by some nice couple. Most strait couples won't do it. Why should they, a male and a female can have their own, why would they help someone else's? Mind you, most of these children have been scared for life because of their biological parents, so adopting them is a real charity for someone who can have their own. I applaud these people, they are a gift to the world.

So strait couples are few and far between. This means that most of these kids will never be adopted, and spend their entire young lives in these facilities.

Now... A gay couple wants to adopt. Well, sorry, you can't, because "a child should have a mother and a father".... since the ones who created him were pillars of love.....

So, a strait couple won't adopt, and a gay couple won't be allowed to adopt because the people in charge are ignorant zealots. Who is left to adopt these kids? No one. Have fun in foster care, where many of the "parents" keep you around for the monthly check.

Religion should be abolished, and it practices should be illegal.

Pushing Atheism

Some people have asked me, in not so pleasant words why I

"push" Atheism. Push... Now that word they do use. It makes it sound

like I'm dealing crack doesn't it? They like those buzz words don't

they? Actually, this is part of the answer. Words.

Many people think that I simply hate god. I love it when they

bring this one up...just love it....it just makes me want to hugg

them, and kiss them and stab them and...oops, off topic.... I do not

hate god. I don't hate god, and I don't hate trolls. Why? neither

exist. Like the boogie man, there is nothing to fear but fear itself,

and there is no one to hate when they don't fucking exist!!!!...oops,

off topic again! I do that, have you noticed?

Do I hate religion? Yes, christianity, and all those with a

singular deity most. I hate them because of, like I said, words. This

is something I noticed at a very early age, as I am sure many of you

reading this have. When having a conversation about, let us say,...

computers... People have a directness to their speech patterns.

Mostly, there are many truths, some lack of knowledge, and maybe a

small lie....usually pertaining to the lack of knowledge.

When people talk about money, there is a slightly different

aire to their speech patterns. Usually they are either confounded, and

add an overwhelming amount of truth, or they are slightly arogant, and

you can sense some lies. All these things are normal, and anyone can

notice them.

When people talk about whatever god they believe in, there is

a completely different feel to it. There is a synthetic peace that

follows them as they speak, a kind of drugged whispyness....I'm pretty

sure that is not a word, but go with it... I have heard my mother talk

about her god and there is a definite ignorance to the sound of her

voice, a childlike blindness to all things outside of the fantasy

world she is currently staying in.

When the faithful speak of morals, that ignorant feel is there

as well, even when speaking of an ideal you hold as well. When you

lie, as an Atheist, you feel bad for the person you lied to. When you

lie as a christian, it is a sin. This, right here is the ignorance I

am speaking of. There is no pity for those they lied to, but it's a

sin, so they did wrong.

When a young girl is impregnated due to a rape, and has an

abortion, a normal person feels sorry for her and what she has been

through. A christian feels nothing for the girl who just "killed her

baby".

So,... Why do I "push" Atheism? I do so because it is reality.

I do so because christianity, and it's sister religions are vile, and

their followers are ignorant fools, who in many cases are just as

vile. I hate religion because some little boy in Nebraska will be

taught that black people are evil, and given a cone shaped hat for his

eighteenth birthday. Religion sucks, and so do most of the religious.

Drama hamad

By: AronRa May 19, 2010My camera was fucking up, but I had run out of time, and had to rush to use the footage I had, or else I'd have made my submission late. This is my contribution to 'Everyone Draw Muhammad Day'.

I'm very hopeful about this effort, because a number of Muslim YouTubers have already taken -what I think to be- the right response to this world-wide collaborative effort to insult Islam -before they bully the rest of us into submission. Dawafilms is encouraging other Muslims to actually participate in this demonstration, (albeit through calligraphy) and SamiZaatari is asking for Muslims to respond peacefully -by submitting passages honoring their prophet to the Facebook page below.

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid...

My entry for Draw Muhammad Day. I obviously did not draw it, I draw like a 4 year old, lol. You may notice, this depiction is not comical or insulting in any way. The Draw Muhammad Day movement was meant as a protest for freedom of speech, not to insult the religious. There are 364 days a year to do that.

Muhammad tells it like it is

ZOMGitsCriss May 19, 2010Wow, drawings of Muhammad, how bigoted and offensive! How about every Humanist and Equalist out there being offended by your dogma ? And how about the millions of people being oppressed by the said dogma and suffering because of it right now ?! Gimmie a break

Jesus as a Reincarnation of Mithra

Jesus as a Reincarnation of Mithra

The Vatican was built upon the grounds previously devoted to the worship of Mithra (600 B.C.). The Orthodox Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version. Virtually all of the elements of Orthodox Christian rituals, from miter, wafer, water baptism, alter, and doxology, were adopted from the Mithra and earlier pagan mystery religions. The religion of Mithra preceded Christianity by roughly six hundred years. Mithraic worship at one time covered a large portion of the ancient world. It flourished as late as the second century. The Messianic idea originated in ancient Persia and this is where the Jewish and Christian concepts of a Savior came from. Mithra, as the sun god of ancient Persia, had the following karmic similarities with Jesus:

Identical Life Experiences

(1)

Mithra was born on December 25th as an offspring of the Sun. Next to the gods Ormuzd and Ahrimanes, Mithra held the highest rank among the gods of ancient Persia. He was represented as a beautiful youth and a Mediator. Reverend J. W. Lake states: "Mithras is spiritual light contending with spiritual darkness, and through his labors the kingdom of darkness shall be lit with heaven's own light; the Eternal will receive all things back into his favor, the world will be redeemed to God. The impure are to be purified, and the evil made good, through the mediation of Mithras, the reconciler of Ormuzd and Ahriman. Mithras is the Good, his name is Love. In relation to the Eternal he is the source of grace, in relation to man he is the life-giver and mediator" (Plato, Philo, and Paul, p. 15).

(2)

He was considered a great traveling teacher and masters. He had twelve companions as Jesus had twelve disciples. Mithras also performed miracles.

(3)

Mithra was called "the good shepherd, "the way, the truth and the light, redeemer, savior, Messiah." He was identified with both the lion and the lamb.

(4)

The International Encyclopedia states: "Mithras seems to have owed his prominence to the belief that he was the source of life, and could also redeem the souls of the dead into the better world ... The ceremonies included a sort of baptism to remove sins, anointing, and a sacred meal of bread and water, while a consecrated wine, believed to possess wonderful power, played a prominent part."

(5)

Chambers Encyclopedia says: "The most important of his many festivals was his birthday, celebrated on the 25th of December, the day subsequently fixed -- against all evidence -- as the birthday of Christ. The worship of Mithras early found its way into Rome, and the mysteries of Mithras, which fell in the spring equinox, were famous even among the many Roman festivals. The ceremonies observed in the initiation to these mysteries -- symbolical of the struggle between Ahriman and Ormuzd (the Good and the Evil) -- were of the most extraordinary and to a certain degree even dangerous character. Baptism and the partaking of a mystical liquid, consisting of flour and water, to be drunk with the utterance of sacred formulas, were among the inauguration acts."

(6)

Prof. Franz Cumont, of the University of Ghent, writes as follows concerning the religion of Mithra and the religion of Christ: "The sectaries of the Persian god, like the Christians', purified themselves by baptism, received by a species of confirmation the power necessary to combat the spirit of evil; and expected from a Lord's supper salvation of body and soul. Like the latter, they also held Sunday sacred, and celebrated the birth of the Sun on the 25th of December.... They both preached a categorical system of ethics, regarded asceticism as meritorious and counted among their principal virtues abstinence and continence, renunciation and self-control. Their conceptions of the world and of the destiny of man were similar. They both admitted the existence of a Heaven inhabited by beatified ones, situated in the upper regions, and of a Hell, peopled by demons, situated in the bowels of the Earth. They both placed a flood at the beginning of history; they both assigned as the source of their condition, a primitive revelation; they both, finally, believed in the immortality of the soul, in a last judgment, and in a resurrection of the dead, consequent upon a final conflagration of the universe" (The Mysteries of Mithras, pp. 190, 191).

(7)

Reverend Charles Biggs stated: "The disciples of Mithra formed an organized church, with a developed hierarchy. They possessed the ideas of Mediation, Atonement, and a Savior, who is human and yet divine, and not only the idea, but a doctrine of the future life. They had a Eucharist, and a Baptism, and other curious analogies might be pointed out between their system and the church of Christ (The Christian Platonists, p. 240).

(8)

In the catacombs at Rome was preserved a relic of the old Mithraic worship. It was a picture of the infant Mithra seated in the lap of his virgin mother, while on their knees before him were Persian Magi adoring him and offering gifts.

(9)

He was buried in a tomb and after three days he rose again. His resurrection was celebrated every year.

(10)

McClintock and Strong wrote: "In modern times Christian writers have been induced to look favorably upon the assertion that some of our ecclesiastical usages (e.g., the institution of the Christmas festival) originated in the cultus of Mithraism. Some writers who refuse to accept the Christian religion as of supernatural origin, have even gone so far as to institute a close comparison with the founder of Christianity; and Dupuis and others, going even beyond this, have not hesitated to pronounce the Gospel simply a branch of Mithraism" (Art. "Mithra").

(11)

Mithra had his principal festival on what was later to become Easter, at which time he was resurrected. His sacred day was Sunday, "the Lord's Day." The Mithra religion had a Eucharist or "Lord's Supper."

(12)

The Christian Father Manes, founder of the heretical sect known as Manicheans, believed that Christ and Mithra were one. His teaching, according to Mosheim, was as follows: "Christ is that glorious intelligence which the Persians called Mithras ... His residence is in the sun" (Ecclesiastical History, 3rd century, Part 2, ch. 5).

"I am a star which goes with thee and shines out of the depths." - Mithraic saying

"I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star." - Jesus, (Rev. 22:16)

Mothers Day

I never did figure out if it's Mother's Day or Mothers Day.... Anyway, I spent it with with my mother, my brother and my sister + family. Luckily, there was little talk of god, or anything close. It was not like last time where I was bombarded with the Evil Atheist topic at the dinner table SURROUNDED by born-agains. Yeah, that's a fair forum. I really felt like I could give my input at a table full of my closest relatives, one of which was a pastor....

I'm not saying I don't absolutely adore my family, I do. I love my mother, I love my niece and nephews, and my sister is the dearest thing in the world to me. My brother means a great deal to me too, but he's not really a part of this, not being quite so vocal in his christianity. My brother in law, on the other hand,... lol. Aside from being a brainwashed pastor, he is one of the most intelligent people I've ever known.

I do not wish I had a different family. I do, however wish the one I had were not xians. It bothers me a lot. My sister especially upsets me. She was once the most down to earth people I have ever known. Like myself she has never been a genius, but she was the type to completely shrug off bullshit. Now I see her talk about her gods and angels, and see that glazed look in her eyes.... It doesn't seem right. She's better than that.

South Park vs Islam II (Viacom's Revenge)

From: Thunderf00t — April 30, 2010 — DL video at
http://www.mediafire.com/?xntndyqz23z

original video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhCjv9...
(note currently (1st May) the original video has not returned. If it doesn't come back in the next day or so (as Viacom said it would), we'll have to do it the old fashioned way).

On Sunday 25th Apr 2010 I put up the video South Park vs Islam.

Less than 24 hrs later the video had the best part of 100k hits, and Viacom issued a DMCA take down notice, even though the video only contained 10 seconds of South Park footage with no audio.

When it became clear that Viacom had not only filed the DMCA notice, but that it was not an automated take down (else all the mirrors would have been taken down too), but someone at Viacom had actually made the decision to file this DMCA -copyright take down notice (the evasion of their lawyers I talked to spoke volumes!)..... to say that I was angry is an understatement.

I had gone out of my way to do what South Park and Viacom did not have the back bone to do. To call bullshit on those who think that a few death threats will humble free speech in the West.... and then having invited these small time religious losers to do their worst, I got stabbed in the back by Viacom. Yeah pissed really doesn't cover it. Of all the cowardly self-centered parasites... it's difficult to know who is worse, those who want to try to limit free speech by a few death threats, or those who would sell out free speech simply as they think to do otherwise might damage their profit margins.

The Real News: The Age Of Science And Discovery

Holy Horrors (1990) by James A. Haught

Holy Horrors (1990) by James A. Haught

A pig caused hundreds of Indians to kill one another in 1980. The animal walked through a Muslim holy ground at Moradabad, near New Delhi. Muslims, who think pigs are an embodiment of Satan, blamed Hindus for the defilement. They went on a murder rampage, stabbing and clubbing Hindus, who retaliated in kind. The pig riot spread to a dozen cities and left more than 200 dead.

This swinish episode tells a universal tale. It typifies religious behavior that has been recurring for centuries.

Ronald Reagan often called religion the world's mightiest force for good, "the bedrock of moral order." George Bush said it gives people "the character they need to get through life." This view is held by millions. But the truism isn't true. The record of human experience shows that where religion is strong, it causes cruelty. Intense beliefs produce intense hostility. Only when faith loses its force can a society hope to become humane.

I just found out that JesusFreak has had his account suspended because a bunch of spineless cowards falsely flagged one or more of his videos. I do not like JF's religion, in fact, I despise it. I cannot, however, condone such an act. Flagging videos without good reason is childish, cowardice, and anyone who does it should be permanently banned from YouTube. A few of my favorite Youtubers have had their videos flagged and taken offline (without review, by the way), and I think it is a travesty. Flagging videos is as bad as burning books. Not even the bible deserves to be burnt,... just disregarded... lol
