--Why do people still use Pascal's wager? It's wrong. There are many cons to believing, the wager does not take life into account, only death. Believing in a god is very bad, as history can prove. Flip the wager around to life, which can be proven. The most common (I'd say around 80%) cause of war is religion. People don't burn other people at the stake because neither side believes in a god.

Religion has been a part of every war since it's conception. Christianity has been the most brutal religion, and still is to this day. Exactly how are Atheists, a group of people united against those atrocities, dangerous? Do not bother quoting from the bible to prove your point. That would be idiotic. There is no reason to believe the god of that bible exists. There have been many things in the bible proven to be false.

---People are IDIOTS when it comes to free speech. The freedom of speech should be taken away from you like ANY OTHER RIGHT, if you abuse it. Your right to live or live freely is taken away when you kill someone. Your right to live among the masses is taken away when you harm people. A testimony of a young girl that had a near-death experience and was shown heaven and hell. God brought her back and gave her a second chance.
--ok, I call bullshit. For one, I'd like to see proof this girl croaked. Also EVERYTHING she has said sounds very very familiar. I've heard the same shit from preachers all over the world. There are two scenarios.
1. She really did die, and was brought back by god (and a defibrillator). There have been many people telling tales of the after life and guess what... they all talk about heaven or hell... from THEIR OWN PERSPECTIVE! That's right, if you are a true bible thumper, than heaven and hell look just as they are depicted in the bible, save for interpretation. If you are a lapsed Christian, it looks more like a tunnel of light and lots of dead relatives. Whatever you believe heaven or hell look like can appear to you as your brain gets starved of oxygen. That's the way it works.
2. She's fucking lying. Any idiot can tell people in explicit detail what the after life looks like because they have been told over and over by their church/temple/etc..

---There is something that I do not think that evolutionists understand about creationists, or rather, evolutionists don't understand that creationists don't understand what evolutionists know.....
Forget I said that.... Anyway, creationists think that evolutionists think that evolutions spontaneous within the life of a living animal. Basically, going for a drink and growing an arm. I don't think they understand the whole 'born with it' thing.... which would explain the gay bashing too...
It's kind of like a child seeing algebra and thinking "These letters don't spell anything, so algebra is wrong!"

However, if you want to believe he was making a prediction, his prediction was 12,019,401. Well done spoon bender!

--I could listen to this guy for hours. I love how he talks.
I like one thing he mentions. He said that Christians worship a 2000 year old book rather than the god described within it. This makes quite a bit of sense. Instead of earning a personal relationship with their higher power through insight and meditation, they try and decode a book that was never encoded to begin with. Instead of learning the truth about their god, they choose to take the word of barbarians from the bronze age who could barely string a sentence together no less have any divine authority.
